RSA NCS CAPS Grade 4 Natural Sciences and Technology Curriculum

In this curriculum, Grades 4 to 6 Natural Sciences and Technology are combined into one subject which is compulsory for all learners. Natural Sciences and Technology are also both compulsory subjects for all learners in Grades 7 to 9. In this curriculum, the knowledge strands are used as a tool for organising the content of the subject Natural Sciences and Technology.

Natural Sciences strands are Life and Living, Matter and Materials, Energy and Change, Planet Earth and Beyond. Technology strands are Structures, Processing, Systems and Control.
